## Thompson's Farm

JCS clients and friends are invited to suit up and join us for a high-energy Laser Tag Mission! Participants will team up, dodge laser beams, and attempt to save the galaxy (or at least score some points) while enjoying a fun, structured community outing.

## Event Details

**🗓️ Date:** Fri, October 16, 2026  
**🕓 Time:** 12:00 pm - 2:30 pm (clients must be dropped off at JCS office by 11:30am)

## Activity Overview

 Join JCS for a fun-filled fall outing to Thompson’s Farm in Naches! Enjoy a day of seasonal farm activities, explore the farm’s festive atmosphere, and take in the sights and sounds of the countryside. Participants will have the opportunity to experience a local farm, enjoy time outdoors, socialize with friends, and make lasting memories together. This community outing also provides opportunities to practice community skills, explore local attractions, and enjoy a day of fall fun!

This outing is a wonderful opportunity for clients to relax, socialize with peers, and enjoy a fun community experience together. Jericho staff will be there throughout the event to provide support and help ensure everyone has a safe, enjoyable, and memorable time.

## Admission Costs

FREE

Clients will need to pack their own lunch

## Sensory Considerations

- Clients may bring approved sensory supports (e.g., ear protection)
- Staff can assist with breaks as needed, when feasible
- Outdoor environment with natural lighting and varying weather conditions
- Moderate to loud sounds from farm animals, machinery, or crowds
- Strong or unfamiliar smells from animals, hay, soil, or seasonal foods
- Various textures, including grass, dirt, gravel, and hay
- Potential for crowds and increased activity around popular attractions
- Uneven outdoor terrain throughout the farm
- Opportunities for movement and exploration throughout the outing

 

## Safety & Participation Notes

- This is a group respite outing, not one-to-one support
- Participants must follow venue rules and staff instructions at all times
- Wear comfortable, weather-appropriate clothing and closed-toe shoes
- Be mindful of uneven terrain and potential tripping hazards
- Participation is encouraged but not required for individual activities
